1988 was the Arrows team’s best season, with Eddie Cheever and Dereck Warwick at the wheel. They achieved the 5th place in the Constructors’ World Championship, level on points with Lotus Honda (4th) and ahead of teams such as Williams, March and Tyrrell. This was during the unforgettable 1988 season, in which Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna took 15 of the season’s 16 victories at the wheel of their McLaren Honda.

Eddie Cheever conquered this year’s only podium at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, 3rd behind the two Ferraris of Gerhard Berger and Michele Alboreto.
