Coffee table made with a Goodyear Eagle F1 rain tire mounted on a silver rim with gold center section of the iconic Renault F1 RS01 driven by Frenchman Jean-Pierre Jabouille in 1977 and 1978.
Tire identification code + “for racing purpose only” label
The Renault RS01 was the first Renault single-seater racing in Formula 1, and the first with a turbocharged engine. After a difficult set-up that earned it the nickname “yellow teapot” from the British, due to the smoke escaping during numerous engine failures, Jean-Pierre Jabouille scored the team’s first points in the penultimate Grand Prix of the 1978 season in the USA East, claimed a first pole position at the 1979 South African Grand Prix and won the French Grand Prix the same year (this victory at the wheel of the RS10).
